It takes a special kind of person to do what we do. Mightier than any emergent disease is the hand that can repair what is broken. It is the neutralizing remedy for many ailments, the counteragent to many poisons. Without the nurse, life when it is at its most trying moment, can be hoisted, but not uplifted. We stand at the helm of life’s beginning and at its end rowing precious lives to the shore of wellness.
