Mini bio

Published Authors Erin Garcia and Genevieve Sarpong live in the Hudson River Valley. From worlds apart their paths crossed and their lives changed forever. Erin Garcia was born in upstate New York and Genevieve Sarpong was born in the West African country of Ghana. They share a lot in common, including their careers as Registered Nurses, being mothers to daughters, and friendship. Above all there is their shared passion for creating characters whose lives mirror the real issues that women face daily. They hope to inspire people from all ethnic backgrounds to know that despite our perceived differences we are united by our humanity. Ms. Sarpong’s published poetry can be found in the National Library of Poetry. Hidden Truths brings to light our awareness that regardless of skin color, wealth, religion, or imperfections, we are driven by our quest for happiness.

Hidden Truths

What a mystery life is.
For as one dies
Another is being born.
As one is betrayed, so has another.
Life’s twists and turns we all encounter,
Uniquely interpreting our experience.
Yet one way or another we all face a similar story.
Until at last we all will meet.
