In the depths of our hearts we give our all to our patients.In critical care, it is not only the nurses astute clinical judgement that helps a patient on the brink of death survive,but the firm demeanor a nurse must muster when it comes to saving the lives of patients.So when after a long road of compassionate and indiscriminate care, a patient recovers and all they can say is,how the nurse was mean to them, it is disheartening. Why might we ask was this nurse mean? The answer is often as ridiculous as the statement made against the only hand that often does it all.In more ways than one.
